In this video, I review my recent crash with the OMPHOBBY 60” Edge 540, take you through the repair process, and install the Hobby Eagle A3 Super 4 Gyro to see if it can help improve stability and control for future flights.
The A3 Super 4 is a high-performance 6-axis gyro stabilizer designed for RC airplanes, offering advanced control and stabilization. My goal is to see if this gyro can make a difference in flight performance, especially after the crash.
The OMPHOBBY 60” 70E Edge 540 is a standout in both quality and performance. With a kevlar-reinforced balsa and ply frame and a bold Green/Black/White color scheme, it’s built for 3D aerobatics as well as casual sports flying. Paired with the recommended SunnySky X4120 550KV motor and a 100 amp ESC, the Edge 540 can handle anything you throw at it, from precision 3D flying to smooth sport manoeuvres.
Key Setup Specs:
• Propeller for 3D flying: 16×8, with 4000mAh 6S battery
• Propeller for sport flying: 15×8, with 5000mAh 6S battery
• Servos: Requires 4 metal gear servos (24-27g)
