Today I’m taking a close look at the Kavan Pulse 2200 V2 – a modern high-performance electric glider that promises smooth flights, fast assembly, and eye-catching style. I cover the full journey: from unboxing and build, through to first flight, trim setup, and my final verdict.

It’s a beautiful plane with some real strengths… but I did encounter a couple of issues that you’ll want to know about before you buy.

🔍 What is the Kavan Pulse V2?
The Pulse V2 is an ARF (Almost Ready to Fly) electric glider with a wingspan of 2200mm and a sleek EPO foam construction. It features a V-tail configuration, factory-installed brushless motor and ESC, and digital servos already pre-installed.

💡 Highlights from the Manufacturer:

Efficient high-performance airfoil for strong gliding and thermal performance
Optimised for both slope soaring and flat field flying
Fast, glue-free assembly – wings lock in place with carbon wing tube and clips
Large canopy for easy access to battery and electronics
Comes with motor, ESC, and 6x pre-installed servos
Striking orange and green finish for high visibility

🔧 What I Found (The Good, The Bad, The Upgradeable)
✔️ What I Like:

It looks fantastic in the air – very visible and sleek
Glides well and tracks nicely once trimmed
Easy to assemble – genuinely beginner-friendly
V-tail is a nice touch for handling and looks
⚠️ What I Didn’t Like:

The elevator servo does not centre properly, making trimming tricky
The aileron servos lack power – couldn’t reliably hold wing position during high-speed dives
It needs a servo upgrade to be truly reliable in aggressive flight
🛠️ My Verdict:
With a couple of hardware swaps (especially the servos), the Kavan Pulse V2 could be a brilliant all-round electric glider. As it stands, it's a fun and sleek model but not without its flaws.
