Introduction
Welcome to my journey into IMAC (International Miniature Aerobatic Club) aerobatics! IMAC is all about precision flying, with pilots performing a set sequence of aerobatic maneuvers designed to challenge and refine flying skills. This year, I’ve set myself a new goal: to learn and master the IMAC Sportsman 2025 schedule. It’s a challenging but exciting step, and I’m looking forward to sharing my progress with you.
What is IMAC?
IMAC, or the International Miniature Aerobatic Club, is a global organisation focused on aerobatic RC flying. IMAC competitions are modeled after full-scale aerobatics, where pilots fly specific sequences with precision and accuracy. Each level in IMAC introduces new maneuvers and increases in difficulty, from Basic up to the complex Unlimited class. Pilots are judged on their ability to fly each maneuver with exactness, consistency, and style.
IMAC sequences test various aspects of flying, including:
• Precision: Every manoeuvre must be executed accurately and consistently.
• Control: Precise throttle and control inputs are essential.
• Awareness: Pilots need to understand the flight box and work within specific boundaries.
My IMAC Journey
I’m excited to take on the IMAC Sportsman 2025 schedule, which includes a range of maneuvers designed to test my control and precision. Sportsman is a great entry point into IMAC, providing enough challenge to keep things interesting without being overly complex. Learning this sequence will be an amazing way to refine my flying skills, and I’m looking forward to both the challenges and the progress!
Along the way, I’ll be sharing my experiences, tips, and any lessons learned as I go through the sequence. I’ll be posting videos, practice updates, and insights to help others who might be interested in trying IMAC themselves.
