This is the extended workshop version showing the entire repair process from start to finish.
After a crosswind landing ended with an unfortunate meeting between an Extreme Flight Laser EXP v2 67” and a fence post, the aircraft suffered significant structural damage. One wing had a crushed leading edge while the opposite wing root was pushed into the fuselage, causing internal cracking.
Rather than replacing parts, I decided to attempt a full repair.
This extended version includes every stage of the restoration process, including:
✔ Assessing the damage
✔ Structural repairs
✔ Rebuilding the wing root area
✔ Leading edge reconstruction
✔ Reinforcement work
✔ Re-covering
✔ Final finishing and checks
