This is Part 2 of my FTL Lancer turbine jet build.
In this stage of the build I focus on installing the core systems inside the fuselage and getting everything connected and working.
In this video I cover:
• Installing the custom wiring loom in the fuselage
• Connecting and setting up the Advanced Radio SF-20
• Installing the fuel tanks and plumbing the fuel system
• Connecting the electronics and testing the setup
At this point the aircraft is really starting to come together, with the main systems now installed and functioning.
However, not everything went perfectly — I ran into an issue with the brakes that will need to be resolved before the first turbine run.
That will be covered in Part 3, where we’ll also run the turbine for the first time.
