I DIDN’T EXPECT THIS! 😍 The Avious Extra NG 1600mm is one seriously fun 6S 3D model!
In this video I take a close look at the Abus Extra NG 1600mm PNP, kindly supplied by HobbyKing, from the initial unboxing and assembly right through to its first flights.
We’ll look at the features, specifications, included electronics and how easy it is to get this Extra NG ready for the flying field. Then we head out to the field where Finn from Flying Fin RC puts it through its 3D paces!
And honestly… this thing surprised me.
With the included 6S power setup, SK3 motor, Aerostar RVSG2 ESC, pre-installed servos, SFGs and LED lighting, there’s a lot packed into this model.
Once in the air, it has loads of power, flies slowly and predictably, and is capable of everything from smooth aerobatics to Harriers and 3D.
I was particularly impressed with how much fun it is to fly and how quickly it goes together.
