Indoor flying is a unique challenge that demands precision, control, and an aircraft designed to handle tight spaces and slow speeds. In my latest video, I dive into the RC Factory Synergy, a lightweight F3P model crafted for pilots who love precise aerobatics. The Synergy isn’t just another indoor plane—it’s a carefully designed masterpiece aimed at both competitive pilots and those exploring the joys of indoor flying.
In this blog, I’ll recap the build process, share insights on the Synergy’s design and features, and reflect on the flight experience. If you’re considering adding an indoor model to your fleet, read on!
What Makes the Synergy Special?
Designed by team pilot Jan Votava, the Synergy is built for F3P competition but remains approachable for pilots new to indoor flying. Its narrower wings and larger canalysers create a linear and predictable response, making it ideal for slow, precise manoeuvres. This is the perfect plane to practice rolls, flips, and advanced aerobatics, or simply enjoy a calm and controlled flying session.
Key Features:
• Wingspan: 845 mm
• Length: 945 mm
• Weight: 105-130 g
• Construction: Lightweight EPP foam
• Battery: 2S 180–350mAh
The Build Process
In the video, I filmed the entire build process and sped it up for you. The kit includes everything you need to assemble the model, and RC Factory has done a great job making the process straightforward.
Key Build Tips:
1. Alignment is Everything: The Synergy’s performance depends on perfect balance and alignment, so take your time during assembly.
2. Glue Choices: I used lightweight adhesives to ensure the finished model stayed within its target weight.
3. Installing Electronics: The lightweight servos, motor, and ESC fit seamlessly, making it easy to complete the build without hassle.
4. Instructions: Make sure you print out and look through the instructions. Every step has a picture showing you exactly what to do but look a had as sometimes the next few steps explain the previous step better.

First Flight Impressions
Taking the Synergy to the air for the first time was an absolute joy. Its predictable flight characteristics and responsive controls make it feel like an extension of the pilot. Whether I was practicing slow rolls or experimenting with flips, the Synergy handled every maneuver with grace.
For pilots looking to enter the world of indoor flying or F3P competition, the Synergy is an excellent choice. Its calm flight characteristics make it ideal for learning and perfecting new manoeuvres, while its agility and precision will impress experienced pilots.
