I recently had the privilege of attending JetPower 2024, and let me tell you—it was an absolutely mind-blowing experience! Held in the heart of Germany, JetPower is the place to be if you’re a fan of turbine-powered jet models and high-octane RC action. This event brought together the very best in jet model aviation, with world-class vendors, jaw-dropping displays, and unforgettable moments that left me buzzing with excitement.
The Venue and Atmosphere
JetPower 2024 was held in a picturesque setting that provided the perfect backdrop for high-speed jet action. The crowd was filled with enthusiasts, from seasoned veterans to newcomers eager to soak in the thrills. The energy was palpable, and there was something for everyone—from massive vendor displays showcasing the latest and greatest in jet technology to spectacular flying exhibitions that pushed the limits of RC aviation.
Vendor Safari
One of the highlights of the show was the Vendor Hall. With endless rows of top-tier exhibitors, I felt like a kid in a candy store! I even teamed up with Smithy to capture some incredible moments from the vendor hall, which you can check out in my JetPower 2024 Vendor Safari video. From Carfs stunning models to FTL Innovations’ Lancer jet, the variety of cutting-edge aircraft on display was nothing short of amazing.
Standout Performances
One of the most breathtaking moments of JetPower 2024 had to be the formation flight of two MASSIVE CARF F-4 Phantoms. These incredible models flew in perfect synchronization, showcasing not only the precision of the pilots but also the engineering excellence behind the aircraft. The power, speed, and scale of these jets were unbelievable, and seeing them soar side by side was a highlight of the event.
Another unforgettable display came from Ryu Sintuphrom flying his Pilot-RC Matrix. Ryu’s flying was nothing short of spectacular, blending aerobatics with the raw power of turbine propulsion. His mastery over the Matrix was a testament to his skill, as he pushed the boundaries of what’s possible with a 3D jet. The precision rolls, flips, and high-speed passes kept everyone at the edge of their seats, and it was clear why Ryu is considered one of the top pilots in the world.
Connecting with Fellow Content Creators
JetPower wasn’t just about jets—it was also a fantastic opportunity to meet up with some of the biggest names in the RC world. I had the pleasure of catching up with Martin Pickering, a legend in the hobby, who was flying his ElsterJet FC1. Watching Martin in action is always a treat, and getting to chat with him about his experiences and passion for the hobby was inspiring.
I also met Ramy RC, who is well-known for his impressive MASSIVE scratch built models, and Jonathan from The Lighter Side of RC, whose in-depth videos and insights bring so much value to the Jet community. Meeting other content creators who share the same love for RC aviation was a real highlight for me, and it’s amazing to see how we all contribute to growing this exciting hobby

Overall Thoughts
JetPower 2024 delivered in every possible way. From the sheer size of the event to the caliber of the jets and pilots, it was an experience I won’t soon forget.
