I’ve been busy this weekend working on the Krill Ultimate project. It’s getting really close now!

I’ve spent at least 4 hours, maybe longer, fitting the tray which holds most of the components, such as Powerbox, batteries and receivers. I was surprised at the amount of wires I needed to run from the front of the model.

2 x servos (throttle and choke, yes I decided to be lazy and add a servo to the choke)
1 x ignition system (running via a UBEC)
2 x smoke system (power and control)

That’s five leads from the front of the aircraft; then you have:

4 x aileron wires, also coming from the front

Which leaves the 2 elevator servos and the rudder servos. In total that’s 12 wires all going into the powerbox, plus the two receivers and two batteries. 16 wires, no wonder it took a while. Here’s a few pictures:
